Demo lesson & interview
A 20-minute demo lesson in Studio 1 and a conversation about how you teach teenagers.
References checked
Two referees confirm your teaching and your conduct with young people.
Background verification
External background check with our screening provider. Required because most learners are under 18.
Clearance progress
With the external provider (5–10 working days). Nothing for you to do.
Safeguarding policy signed
Policy v2.1 and the instructor code of conduct, signed in the app.
Director sign-off & clearance gate
The Director reviews every check. Gate G-01 lifts only after this.
Delivery training & quiz
Four short modules and a 10-question quiz. Then you enter the matching pool.

Why we vet
Most of our learners are teenagers. No teacher is assigned a learner until every check is cleared — the system enforces it, not a person remembering to check. Once cleared, you're paid per delivered lesson with statements every two weeks.
